This policy applies to orders accepted through the US Automation Controls website. A quote request is not an order and does not start a shipment.
When an order ships. We ship after the order is accepted and payment is completed, or once it is approved on Net 30 terms. If the items are in stock and the order is received before 2:00 PM Eastern Time on a business day, we ship the same day. Orders received after 2:00 PM Eastern Time, or on a weekend or holiday, ship the next business day. Items that are not in stock ship against the manufacturer lead time stated on the confirmation. A product page does not promise a ship date.
Carriers. We ship by UPS, FedEx, or USPS. We choose the carrier and service unless you choose a service at checkout or request another method in writing before the order is accepted. Freight, hazardous, or oversized items may move by common carrier and may require a commercial delivery address.
Ship on your own carrier account. You can ship on your own UPS or FedEx account. In the cart, check "Ship on my carrier account" and enter your carrier and account number. At checkout, choose "Ship on my carrier account (UPS/FedEx collect)", which costs $0.00. Your carrier bills you directly. Your account number must be valid. If we can't use it, we'll contact you before shipping.
Cost. Shipping is calculated at checkout unless a written quote says otherwise, or unless you ship on your own carrier account. A $0.00 product price is not free shipping and is not an offer.
Where we ship. We ship to business and residential street addresses in the United States. We do not ship to PO boxes. You are responsible for a complete delivery address and for receiving the shipment.
Partial shipments. Unless you tell us to hold the order, we ship the lines that are available and backorder the rest. Each later shipment is a separate shipment and is billed its own freight charge (or charged to your carrier account if you chose that option). We do not hold an order for a complete shipment unless you request that before the first box goes out. A request to ship complete may delay the lines that are already in stock until the backordered lines arrive.
Title and risk. Risk of loss passes to you when the carrier picks up each shipment, unless a written order says otherwise. Inspect each carton on delivery and note visible damage with the carrier.
Lost or damaged freight. Damage must be reported within the carrier's claim deadlines, which are set by the carrier. Keep the cartons and packing materials until the claim is settled. Also tell us at sales@usac123.com within 5 business days of the carrier's delivery scan. On shipments we send on our account, we will file the carrier claim. On shipments sent on your own carrier account, you must report the damage to your carrier and file the claim with them. Replacement or credit depends on the carrier claim and on stock.
Net 30 terms. Business customers can apply for Net 30 terms. Email sales@usac123.com and ask for a credit application. Accounts are opened only for approved credit. See our Terms of Service for payment terms.
Returns. Returns follow each manufacturer's return policy. Stocked items can be returned with an RMA number. Special-order (non-stocked) items are non-returnable unless defective or shipped in error. Shipping cost is not refunded unless we shipped the wrong part or a defective part. See our Refund policy.
